Μια ενδιαφέρουσα ερώτηση από αναγνώστη μας του Μόντρεαλ, ο οποίος ενδιαφέρεται να μάθει πού πήγαν οι 57.000 δολάρια, τα οποια …απουσιάζουν από το ταμείο της Φιλοπτώχου Αδελφότητας της εκκλησίας του Τιμίου Σταυρού στο Λαβάλ. Ρωτάει, λοιπόν ο εν λόγω αναγνώστης μας, τα εξής:
«Ξέρει κανείς πού είναι τα $57.500 από την Φιλόπτωχο του Τιμίου Σταυρού στο Λαβάλ; Αυτή είναι η εκκλησία με τον Επίσκοπο Κεράμων Βαρθολομαίο. Σύμφωνα με την ιστοσελίδα του Τμήματος Φορολογίας του Καναδά, η Φιλόπτωχος του ναού είχε στην τράπεζα, στις 31 Μαΐου 2020, ποσό 57.609 δολάρια. Ένα χρόνο αργότερα, τις 31 Μαΐου 2021, είχαν απομείνει μόνο 80 δολάρια στον λογαριασμό.
Την περίοδο 1 Ιουνίου
2020 έως 31 Μαΐου 2021 δήλωσαν μόνο 166 δολάρια για διάφορα έξοδα. Με Αποτέλεσμα, οι περίπου 57.500 δολάρια να εξαφανιστούν, χωρίς καμία εξήγηση. Μήπως, όλοι οι κληρικοί που γαβγίζουν για
διαφάνια,

Μήπως, λοιπόν, τα εκεί ΜΜΕ που γνωρίζουν
κλά την …περιοχή και ψάχνουν παρόμοια ενδιαφέροντα για το λαό θέματα, μπορούν
να μας ενημερώσουν, σχετικά;
Γι' αυτό κάποιοι προφήτες θέλουν να διαχωρίσουν τις εκκλησίες από την κοινότητα. Με το καλό παράδειγμα αυτών των κυριων, οι Ιερείς θα κάνουν ό,τι θέλουν στο μέλλον.
ReplyDeleteΊσως γι' αυτό «παραιτήθηκε» ο Επίσκοπος; Η Φιλόπτωχο θα έχει τον Αρχιεπίσκοπο στην εκκλησία τους την Παρασκευή. Φαίνεται ότι χρειάζεται για να σβήσει τη φωτιά.

I don’t understand why anyone gives money to the Philoptochos when there’s no accountability and Sotiris, Bishop Iakovos, Bartholomew and whoever else just takes it. But why was St. John’s Philoptochos hoarding so much money to begin with? It’s supposed to be spent, that’s why people give it to them to help the poor. Are the Philoptochos brain dead? Or are they all in the Skoutakis Sotirios trans too?
DeleteYou’ll find the $57K in Greece with retired Bishop Bartholomew because he’s never coming back to Canada! He’s permanently moved to Greece and sold everything he had here. Maybe he thought he was entitled to a parting gift. MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO! He figured Bishop Iakovos got away with it last year when he took $30K from the Philoptochos at his church and went vacationing for over 3 months in Greece. That vacation wasn’t going to pay for itself! I wonder who paid for his most recent vacation to Paris and Greece last month, he just got back this week, must be nice while his priests can’t even take a day off in Quebec because he treats them like they’re in prison. And where did both of those Bishops learn this behaviour from? Sotirios, who else, who uses the National Philoptochos as his personal slush fund. None of this should surprise anyone since those around Sotirios imitate him. Look at Merkel at St. Nick’s she eats from the trough too she’s no volunteer that’s for sure. The church in Canada is corrupt to its core. These guys don’t see Christ they just see dollar signs.

DeleteThe National Philoptochos stockpiles their money instead of actually giving it to the poor because instead they let Sotirios decide what he wants to do with it. Those women in charge of the National Philoptochos are as dirty as Sotirios. How do you take money from people for the poor and not give it back to the poor? How do you take a percentage every year from each local parish Philoptochos and not use it for the poor or to help our church? It’s disgusting! I wouldn’t give a dollar to any Philoptochos in Canada. Those women on the National Executive Philoptochos should resign! There are little old ladies who give money that they barely have to help the poor and they’re stockpiling it for the most immoral person in our church Sotirios, or for Bishop Iakovos or for Bishop Bartholomew. RESIGN!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteΗ Φιλική Εταιρεία είναι πολύ καλή στο παράπονο και στην κριτική. Πώς θα αντιμετώπιζαν αυτό το πρόβλημα με το σχέδιό τους; Να το φροντίσει ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος ή θα έβρισκε τα λεφτά το ενοριακό συμβούλιο;
ReplyDeleteI dunno how many times these scandals need to happen in our church for people to stop giving money? I’m not surprised this happened in Bish Iakovos and Barts churches, I’d be more surprised if this didn’t happen. But I gotta say I’m surprised it also happened at a GCT church because we’re all supposed to hate Sotirios and his minions, it’s like the first path we take as members LOL!
ReplyDeleteΑντίποδα, μη μιλάς καθόλου πλέον, διότι επέστρεψε απο το ταξίδι εργασίας, ο Αντωνόπουλος και θα τα βάλει όλα τα κακώς κείμενα πράγματα στη σωστή τους θεση, αφού είναι ο αρμόδιος για αυτά διορισμένος από τον κ.κ. Σωτήριο. Θα δεις ότι θα βρεθούν όπου και αν πήγαν, οι 57 χιλιάδες, άσχετα αν επιστρέψουν στο ταμείο της φιλοπτώχου καθώς και οι 30 χλιάδες της δικής του ενορίας. Με τις πράξεις τους αυτές θέλουν τόσο ο αρχιεπίσκοπος όσο και οι επίσκοποι να δείξουν ότι είναι καλα παιδάκια, μήπως τους εμπιστευτεί ο λαός του Μόντρεαλ και ψιφήσει τον συνδυασμό "ΠΡΑΞΗΣ" και πάρουν ολόκληρη την κοινότητα όπως έγινα εκεί στο Τορόντο απο ότι διαβάζω. Οργανωμένο σχέδιο αφού δεν κάνουν τίποτα άλλο από ίντριγκες για να τα αποκτήσουν όλα! Προσωπικά βέβαια νομίζω ότι δεν θα τους περάσει γιατί στο εδώ υπάρχουν και σοβαροί Έλληνες ομογενείς που ξέρουν από τέτοια. Ελπίδα λοιπόν και βλέπουμε.....
ReplyDeleteΚαι πώς θα βρεθούν ρε συ φίλε, αν τα χρησιμοποίησε ο Τίμιος Σταυρός για τον καλοπησμό Του, ώστε να δεχθεί την προσεχή Σταύρωση του Ιησού; Ξέρουμε ότι από ους ιερωμένους προβάλονται και τέτοιες δικαιολογίες, χωρίς καμιά ντροπή! Είναι πολύ απλά τα πράματα.......
Delete10:20 PM - even if the money magically reappears from last May it’s still deemed misapproproperation of fund. It's like if you take out money from a clients portfolio to use it for something else and then put the money back that's still illegal even if you put the money back.
DeleteAnd Bishop Iakovos himself wrote that he went to Greece for family, not for work. He's the one that told everyone he was going to Paris and Athens just look at his social media accounts. It was a vacation just look at all those photos he posted of himself. But my priest is not allowed to take a vacation or go visit his fsmily because it's Lent, but the rules don't apply to Bishop Iakovos, do as I say, not as I do!
