Interesting there’s 6 priests listed in that blog post and this is their current status: Fr Odysseus, left to USA, Fr Michael left to CYPRUS, Fr Konstantinos, left to GREECE, Fr Theo, might be leaving to USA, Fr Haridimos, divorced b/c of SOTIRIOS, Fr Ted, transferred to cover up Scandals… The first 3 priests families Sotirios split apart and they left Canada. The following one Sotirios destroyed his marriage. Then there is Fr Theo that is in a standstill, if Sotirios transfers him he’s leaving to USA. Then there’s Fr Ted which Sotirios transfered to protect a church scandal. If that doesn’t say Sotirios has destroyed our church, then I don’t know what does. We had good priests leave because of Sotirios, but the scandal ridden priest that should have been kicked out already Sotirios doesn’t do anything to his family. To survive as clergy in Sotirios sick church, you got a be sick like him.!
Fr Ted we all know has a dark side but I never thought he was that stupid as to put himself in a position to allow Sotirios to blackmail him. If it is true he is an idiot. Let the facts come out.

4:22. Idiot? Sotirios owns Ted’s ass. He has so much shit on him, including evidence for indictable offenses. One call to the police and he’s fucked. One letter to the patriarch and he’s defrocked. Ever wonder why his family is so poor that they had to beg people for formula and diapers for the twins when they first came to Toronto and still can’t get out debt. Yet when they were in Winnipeg they could afford a condo, a motorcycle, a car, etc etc. and now they rent a 2 bedroom dump. From the moment he stepped foot in Toronto and Sotirios covered for him, he did so at a financial cost. Sotirios doesn’t do anything for free! How are you broke on a 6 figure income? Sotirios is the master manipulator he can find a way to make a buck off of anyone. It’s all about money for $otirios.
DeleteAs for Fr Haridimos leave the guy alone, you have no idea what torture he went through. I don’t know how he hasn’t killed himself yet because of Sotirios. Nothing about it is funny.

ReplyDeleteWell in fairness Archbishop Sotirios did ban Fr Ted from going to any feast days in the church, to the female monasteries, to public events like the graduation, shut down his re-catechism classes, Facebook pages, etc. And he has banned fr Ted from being able to be alone with women in the church unless it’s confession. That’s not nothing! He’s done quite a bit. No other priest in Canada has such strict restrictions imposed on them. The Archdiocese needs priests so the Archbishop has no other choice. You think it’s easy being Archbishop?
It’s a really tough job being a black mailing manipulative Archbishop who has as he says lame duck useless bishop and uneducated priests who play the same game as him.

Delete2:19 I still haven’t gotten an answer from the Archdiocese where the bag of cash Merkel drops off every few weeks to Sotirios goes. Not to his staff to be put in the bank. Why is Merkel bringing cash to the archdiocese to begin with? Why isn’t it going to the bank? And you just explained why the National Philoptochos is under investigation by the federal government! Why are they using money meant for the poor and giving it to Sotirios? It’s his slush fund. We’ve known that for so long. And now it’s a slush fund for Bish Iakovos too. And before Bish Bartholomew permanently left for Greece he cleaned out his Philoptochos too. I can’t remember how much but Andipothas broke that story somewhere on this blog with the financials. The only hierarch in Canada who hasn’t taken from the Philoptochos is Bish Athengaors. If you want to feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for the boys, students and priests who were sexually abused by Sotirios. And how much money has the archdiocese spent of the faithfuls money for non-disclosure agreements?
