The Patriarchal Orthodox Theological Academy of Toronto (1 Patriarch Bartholomew Way (86 Overlea Blvd.)) celebrates on May 8 the holy memory of its patron the Holy and Glorious Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, to whom the Chapel is dedicated.
On Saturday, May 7 at 6:00 pm, a Great Vespers will be celebrated, presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios.
After the Holy Vespers there will be an investiture of three (3) new Archons of our Ecumenical Patriarchate
On Sunday, May 8, at 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., there will be Orthros and Divine Liturgy, presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios.
I invite you to come and celebrate St. John the Theologian and to congratulate the newly invested Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Η Πατριαρχική Ορθόδοξη Θεολογική Ακαδηµία Τορόντο (1 Patriarch Bartholomew Way (86 Overlea Blvd)) γιορτάζει την 8η Μαΐου την ιερά µνήµη του προστάτη της Αγίου ενδόξου Αποστόλου και Ευαγγελιστού Ιωάννου του Θεολόγου, στον οποίο είναι αφιερωµένος ο Ιερός Ναός.
Το Σάββατο, 7 Μαΐου και ώρα 6:00 µ.µ. θα τελεσθεί Μέγας Εσπερινός, προεξάρ-χοντος του Σεβασµιωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου κ. Σωτηρίου.
Μετά τον Μ. Εσπερινό θα γίνει η χειροθεσία τριών (3) νέων Αρχόντων του Οικουµενικού µας Πατριαρχείου.
Την Κυριακή, 8 Μαΐου και ώρα 8:30 - 11:30 π.µ. θα τελεσθεί Όρθρος και Θεία Λειτουργία, προεξάρχοντος του Σεβασµιωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου κ. Σωτηρίου.
Σας προσκαλώ να έλθετε να γιορτάσουμε και φέτος τη μνήμη του Αγ. Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου και να τιμήσουμε τους νέους Άρχοντες του Οικουμενικού μας Πατριαρχείου.

Κι' εγώ που νόμιζα ότι η θεολογική Ακαδημία βγάζει μόνο ιερείς, αλλά τώρα τελευταία βλέπω ότι βγάζει και άρχοντες του πατριαρχείου. ή μήπως μόνο άρχοντες; Αφού συνεχώς άρχοντες βλέπω να χειροθετούνται. Ίσως γιαυτό την ονόμασαν πατριαρχική;
ReplyDeleteΞευτυλίστηκαν και ξευτίλισαν τα πάντα τα καθίκυα για να μαζέψουν χρήματα και η βρωμεροί υποκριτες ακολουθάνε.
DeleteThe Archons are all useless here anyway. I have no idea what they do but I'm guessing they have no idea what they do either. Then you have Sotirios’ pet Archon Evangelaki who writes heretical things. The Archdiocese is such a joke starting with Sotirios. Then you have Sotirios’ other pet Iakovos who goes around telling people and clergy about money he's supposedly given to the Church. First, we know it's stolen money from the church (hello Philoptpchos!) that he's trying to pass off as his own money and second, when you give to the church you don't go around telling people about it. Maybe he should try reading the Bible sometime. What's even more hilarious is that he goes around telling people around the WORKD that he's going to be the next archbishop of Canada. He told people in Greece and it's gotten back to Patriarch Bartholomew, he's not impressed. I came wait for the day he's NOT announced archbishop, I hope someone records his temper tantrum.
