Sotirios, doesn't have a spiritual bone in his body...

Unknown commented on "Κατά Σωτηρίου, τάχτικε και ο επίσκοπος Αθηναγόρας; Αν είναι δυνατόν.!"

No one is begging for pedo Sotirios to stay except his buddies eating at the trough with him. No one. And no one thinks Emmanual will be the next Patriarch, not even him. You clearly aren't close enough to know what's going on. As for the charter in America, that's not about the churches that's about the Metropolises and if you knew what was actually going on you'd understand what the joint committee is going to do.

You might want to find out what Archbishop Iakovos of North and South America tried to do to break off from the Mother Church and run his own church, that's why we have metropolis’ now, to save the church. Patriarch Bartholomew made the jurisdictional changes for a reason at that time and he has an obligation to fix what he did before he dies or steps down. As for Sotirios, there's a greater chance people will piss on his grave than cry when he goes. And not only do the monasteries here hate him, so do the majority of priests, parish councils, faithful. He doesn't have a spiritual bone in his body. There's a reason priests continue to leave and you’ll see more go. It's because their boss is an full on asshole.

  1. Agreed. No one will miss Sotirios when he’s gone except his enablers like Merkel and her Archon son, Iakovos, and a handful of priests in Toronto. The last few years have been absolute chaos in the church because of them. When the Feds are investigating multiple parts of the church in Canada, you know it’s time to call it a day. There are more federal investigations taking place right now in our church than ever before!

Find me a National Philoptochos anywhere in the world that has lost their charitable status like Canada has.

Find me an Archdiocese anywhere in the world that has so many ongoing investigations by the Government.

Find me an Archdiocese anywhere in the world that has had so many priests leave in such a short period of time.

Find me an Archdiocese that has so many empty churches now that all the covid restrictions are lifted.

  2. What!? I can't believe the philanthropic arm of the church lost its charitable status by the government. Not even All Saints church lost it after that huge fake tax receipts scam happened. What did the Philoptochos do with Archbishop Sotirios? I'm guessing the ladies involved in the illegal activity were not removed since they did his bidding?

  3. Let’s not forget that Archbishop Iakovos of North & South America is also the reason we have Sotirios to begin with. And yes, the Patriarch needs to fix what he did with the jurisdictions. For the most part the Metropolitans across America are “celibate priests” like Sotirios, instead of monks and that’s why monasteries have been banned from the Metropolitan of Boston and the former Metropolitan of New Jersey and treated badly by the others. Imagine a church where monasteries are prohibited from being built? Everything’s upside down.

  4. It might be helpful if the next Archbishop is actually spiritual and not just a “businessman” as Sotirios likes to publicly refer to himself like it’s some badge of honour. People are seeking spirituality in the church, not Bay Street.

  5. It might be more helpful if they remove our Archbishop who’s a pedo. Not being spiritual is the least of his problems. And let’s clean up the bordello.

  6. Mr Andipothas, my friend, can you start a pool where everyone guesses when the Patriarch will ask Sotirios to step down? I say by the end of 2023.
