πληροφόρησή σου είναι απόλυτα σωστή και καλώς ρωτάς για την επιβεβαίωσή της,
από τον ό,ποιον αρμόδιο. Έλα όμως που από κουτσομπολιά τα οποία κυκλοφορούν
στην πιάτσα, μαθαίνουμε ότι για την συμφωνία της παραχώρησης αυτής, δηλαδή
μέρους του ταμείου της Φιλοπτώχου, έγινε από αναρμόδιους οι οποίοι επέβαλαν
στην 9Κοινότητα να την δεχτεί, υπογράφοντάς την. Αυτός εξ’ άλλου είναι και ο
λόγος που κοντά δυό μήνες τώρα ΔΕΝ τολμούν κανένας από τους δυο υπογράφοντες να
ανακοινώσουν επίσημα κάτι επί του θέματος, αρκούμενοι σε κουτσομπολίστικες
διαδόσεις, ώστε να σφυγμομετρήσουν την κοινή γνώμη και την άποψή της επι του
θέματος.

Word out there is a spineless board was forced by the stalled fundraising committee to accept the latest offer because every time a new offer was coming back it was getting worse. The infamous negotiating committee of Dr Karandonis, John Fanaras, Betty Skoutakis and John Vavitsas forgot to even try and negotiate for fear it may offend Sotirios and kept on bringing back more of everything Sotirios did not know he wanted.
ReplyDeleteIt is said those few who voted against the latest offer did so for many reasons the main ones being that Pronia now has to pay fees to the corrupt Archdiocese something it never had to do as a result of its' creation. Would like an answer as to how this even got on the negotiating table? The second was the insistence of paying priests some $75,000 per year on top their unreported tax free tips for funerals ,grave site readings, house blessings etc. Something we know quite well is not happening anywhere else in Canada. The third is paying the Archdiocese $40K per church when all of his churches have been told all the have to pay is $15K. Could that be the reason behind the rumors' the spineless Nikona resigned from the board because he voted to get this over and done with? 40 years later Sotirios has once again managed to screw the GCT and the GCT allowed him do it. Nikona Georgakopoulos seems to be the only one that has backbone and the B@LLS to come clean and make a statement telling everyone where he stands.
HE VOTED (NO !) he told us in a Crystal clear way. He voted against the agreement. He has my and everyones respect for putting his name on his comment posted on ANTIPODA, something none of us has the backbone to do.
I also congratulate him because over the years he dealt with difficult situation in a very direct and confident way. He decided to take the bull by the horns. He tried to solve the problem and stood up to this vicious and greedy church leader who is using the church in order to satisfy his .. obsessions .
JUST THE FACTS: During the vote 4 voted (NO), one blond lady… abstained and 10 voted (YES), in order to approve or disapprove the agreement ! Who are the 4 with the backbone who voted NO?
We will find out soon enough.
Who is Nikona Georgakopoulos and what is his record?
June 10th 2010 George Gekas was elected as president of the GCT.
On June 16th 2010 George Gekas resign ( 16 days later) after looking at the mess Menegakis left behind. Menegakis used the community to open the road to become a politician.
The day Nikona was elected as the president he inherited the GCT with an Apr. $13 million debt, $1800 in cash and $200.000 in payments per month, payments the GCT could not afford to pay, complements of former 10 year president Menegakis.
Tell me my friends who had the guts, the backbone and the courage to take on such responsibility after professor Gekas run scared?
That was NIKONA GEORGAKOPOULOS.
Since June 16th 2010 when he was elected president, he and Atemakis team brought the debt down to Apr. $3Million.

Irresponsible Gossip with-ought facts hurts respectable people.
As a former elected GCT executive and voluntier i was there on both occasions and that is why I speak with facts and what is fair. I have written this comment in order to protect the innocent, the future of the GCT, and people with the communities best interest at heart.
I CONGRATULATE NIKONA for putting the record straight with his name behind his statements. An apology to Mr. Georgakopoulos would be a good gesture by 4:26 .
9:43pm you might want to first ask about the news release the GCT issued yesterday about the Board requesting the resignation of one of the Directors because of his misconduct to another Director.

Best thing that ever happened was Nikonas forced resignation. To be clear for the person spitting FACTS without proof...everyone is saying it is because he made derogatory comments of a sexual nature about another female board member. It is nice to see the GCT finally grow a back bone and STOP losers like this being involved.
ReplyDelete12:47 Nikona was not forced to resign but in fact resigned of his own volition for health reason and the fact the board agreed to a lousy deal. As for him making "derogatory comments of a sexual nature about another female board member" all of that is hearsay at best. Surprisingly I have been advised all of this dirt is coming from employees at the GCT who fear for their future when the new board comes in due to their complete incompetence.
