Have
you been living under a rock the past 40 years of Sotirios’ reign? When I was a
child my parents kept me away from Archbishop Sotirios and I never went to kiss
his hand or get andithoro from him or go in the altar when he was there. And I
remember hearing the mothers talking at church about the sexual abuse that was
happening by him: Άκουσες ότι ο Μητροπολίτης έβαλε χέρι στις Τούλας το παιδί;
It didn’t make sense to me then why there would be a bad person as the
spiritual father of the church, but I was too young to understand the value of
a dollar. Anyone who’s a parent and isn’t super involved in the church needs to
understand that our Archbishop is a pedophile and to keep your children away.
Pedophilia can’t be cured so don’t expect him to just stop. What I do expect
from his boss though, our Patriarch, is that he remove Sotirios already. But
now that I understand the value of a dollar so I understand why Sotirios is
still Archbishop of Canada. Our money feeds this, it’s time we let them starve.

You go find out how much Canada gives to Patriarch Bartholomew and how much America does each year and there’s your answer. We barely have 70 churches and they have more than 500 churches but yet we give more.

On a completely separate topic, does anyone know how much money the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada raised for the fires in Greece? I know the Greek Community of Toronto announced what they raised. I know Archbishop Elpidophoros announced $1 million for America and Archbishop Makarios announced $636,000 for Australia.
