Συνεχίζεται με μεγάλη επιτυχία η εκδήλωση που οργάνωσαν για σήμερα το Τμήμα κυριών της Ελληνικής Κοινότητας "Η ΠΡΟΝΟΙΑ". Η εκδήλωση γίνεται στο Κέντρο "Μέγας Αλέξανδρος" της Κοινότητας στο Scarborough και όλες οι εισπράξεις θα διατεθούν για τα σχολεία του οργανισμού, ώστε να βοηθηθούν μαθητές οι οποίοι δεν μπορούν να ανταποκριθούν στις οικονομικές απαιτήσεις, για να μάθουν την ελληνική
γλώσσα. Παραπάνω η πρώτη ενδεικτική φωτογραφία από την εκδήλωση, που μας έστειλε ο φωτογραφικός φακός μας... Τάσο, θα σε ζηλέψουν πολλοί αλλά δεν θα φταίω εγώ, εντάξει;

Then I guess we wonder WHY is it that our church congregations are dwindling?
In the united States a report published by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America stated that "90% of Americans with Greek Roots No Longer in Communion with Greek Orthodox Church"
You Eminence Canada most likely is no different?
What are you doing to stop this trend?
1.Forbidding your priests to attend & bless the meal and those in attendance?
2.Sending selective copies of communications between the GCT and the Metropolis to your only friendly reporter. Why not publish all the letters? Maybe the rest of the press including the Canadian ones would find it entertaining?
3. Forbidding your priests from giving communion to elder ladies of our church who no longer participate in your non-transparent philoptochos?
I understand that two weeks ago the Ladies Philoptochos of St Johns that are no longer operating out of our church, had a fundraiser for the poor and destitute at St Nicholas church.
As expected no information on the amount of funds raised were disclosed, BUT then again why expect anything different?
The Ladies Philoptochos of St John have over $180,000 (these are your own words) in GIC's raised by the GCT congregation at St John's Church over the years in clear contradiction to your own Philoptochos By-laws.
Have you wondered how it is possible for these ladies to have $180K and still claim that they are helping "the poor and destitute"? You should ask to review ALL the cheques they have issued over the same years and to whom? Better yet why not publish all of them?
Sorry your Eminence, I no longer believe anything until I see indisputable proof.
