Αναγνώστης μας έστειλε το παρακάτω σχόλιο, προς απάντηση σε κάποια ερωτήματα αναγνωστών περί του τι συμβαίνει στον ΑηΓιάννη. Διαβάστε το και πείτε μας τη γνώμη σας ή ότι γνωρίζετε για το θέμα αυτό.
Αγαπητέ Αντίποδα, διαβάζω τις τελευταίες ημέρες, πολλά σχόλεια και ερωτηματικά για το τι συμβαίνει στην ενορεία του αγ. Ιωάννη και περισσότερα με τον εκεί ιερέα. Περίμενα κι εγώ να διαβάσω τι συμβαίνει, μήπως και διασταυρόσω τις πληροφορίες που έχω, για τις πράξεις του βρομερού παπά που υπάρχει εκεί και τα όσα κάνει.
Αυτό που έχω εγώ να πω, ύστερα από μαρτυρίες δικών μου ανθρώπων
είναι ότι ο κυρ Φίλλιπας ζητάει από τους δικούς του κολητούς του ενορίτες, να
μην πάνε στην εκκλησία τους τυχόν νεκρούς συγγενείς τους αλλά να θέλουν να
γίνεται η εξόδιος ακολουθεία μέσα στο Φιούνεραλ και από εκεί στο νεκροταφείο.
Έτσι τους λέει ότι γλυτόσουν όλα τα χρήματα που είναι για την κοινότητα - εκκλησία!
Μάλιστα σε αυτό το σημείο ξέπεσε ο κερατάς, διότι δεν δίνει λογαριασμό στον
αρχιεπίσκοπο, αφού τον έχει δεμένον από τα κρεμαστάρια του. Αυτά είχα να πω και
θα περιμένω κάποιους που ξέρουν περισσότερα να μας τα πούν, διαφορετικά θα
επανέλθω εγώ με τα άλλα που ξέρω.
I don’t know of any issues with the priest at St John’s other than some people want a younger priest (AKA Fr Theo). But there are older priests in a number of other churches. He asked to retire a while ago but the Archbishop won’t release him. At least he’s still serving, others would have told the Archbishop where to go and just left.

ReplyDeleteΟ στρατηγός του Αγ. Γιάννη είναι ο παπά Φιλιππας και αυτός φαίνεται ότι είναι το αφεντικό. Αντι να σταματήσει για να απολαύσει τη ζωή διότι έχει πιά μεγαλώσει, εκει κάθεται.
Μανία με τα λεφτά και την εξουσία. Τα ίδια κάνει και ο Σωτήριος. . Ελεος πια. Και μετα οι παπάδες, μας μιλάνε και μας λένε ότι πρέπει να μετανοήσουμε. Μήπως αυτοί είναι καλλίτεροι?
Συνφωνώ εντελώς μαζί σου αγαπητέ κύριε.Φαίνεται πολύ καθαρά ότι αυτή είναι η αλήθεια τόσο για Φίλλιπο όσο και για Σωτήριο. Τους έχει κατακυριεύσει το χρήμα για το οποιο πράτουν τα πάντα! Και μάλιστα χωρίς να ντρέπονται έστω και λίγο. Άκουσα μάλιστα ότι οι κοινοτικοί θέλουν να τον διώξουν αλλά ο Σωτήριος δεν το κάνει διότι τον κρατά από τα απίδια του, με τους νεαρούς κυπρίους που του κουβαλούσε στην Επισκοπή (για εξομολόγηση) τα πρώτα χρόνια. Μια άλλη φορά περισότερα.

Delete9:55 Fr Philipa has asked to retire starting a few years ago. Sotirios won’t release him. Check your facts before condemning a man who wants to retire. It’s his boss, not him. He doesn’t need money, he’s eligible for pension and received large lump sum payouts from the GCT for when they didn’t pay him for many years.

Maybe you should check you false narrative. Philipa made it clear to everybody he would walk once he got his lump sum from the GCT. He got it and changed his mind. Talk to Dr. Karandoni and Skoutaki who did the deal with the devil, who as expected reneged on it. Nikona is right Sotirios knows Philip has been telling families to avoid the church. He also knows that Tasia and her Archon Son have been taking the priest checks from the funeral homes and taking them to Sotirios that is why St Nick is loosing all the priests from over there. I wonder what the Bereavement Authority of Ontario will say when they see families being charged for priest fees and the check going elsewhere? Come on Nikona this is the easy stuff nail them

DeleteI didn’t even think of the additional issues of what the problem is with taking priests funeral pay at St Nick’s.
9:10 pm no he is not telling them in front of the pulpit. Look at the nearby obituaries which state service is to be held at church which never happens.

Κάποτε συνάντησα κ ένα φοιτητή της Ακαδημίας που έψελνε σε κάποιες εκκλησίες στο Τορόντο καί είχε τέτοια γλώσσα, σαν του παπά Φίλλιπα.
Ντροπή. Οι παπάδες δεν πρέπει να εχουν ούτε ύφος, ούτε να γαυγίζουν.

2:11. Fr Philip is just one of many problem priests in Canada. Just look at the Toronto priests and the list of breaking of the canons and illegal activity comes to mind.
DeleteBut this idea that priests have to be perfect in certain areas is ridiculous. They’re not saints. They’re not Christ. They’re not robots. They’re poorly trained priests who have distorted egos because of their boss the Archbishop.
Just be clear the Archdiocese is demanding that our churches pay theologically uneducated priests a minimum of $70,000 per year. As a minimum they should have a masters in theology to get that kind of starting salary.
ReplyDeleteIn the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America you must have a Master's Degree to even be considered for the priesthood. And the pay scale is public.
DeleteAlso, St Nick’s a Toronto church where the cost of living is higher than other places and only pays their priests between $45-50K per year and takes all their tips not just from funerals and other sacraments like marriage and baptisms but even from the basket that goes to the priest with names for Divine Liturgy that are addressed to the priest to pray those names. Let me say this again, a lay person: Merkel/Archon Evangelos takes money out of the basket which is for the priest for the proskomidi for Holy Communion. Has anyone ever heard of such insanity?!
And the former priest, Fr Apostolos had a signed contract from the Archbishop himself that said he'd be paid just over $60K, but when he came to Canada Merkel told him $50K. And that was the end of that. Plus she took all his tips. Let's not forget how Bishop Iakovos threatened his life and his family and then kicked him out of St Nicks at midnight after screaming and swearing at him and his wife for quite some time. Yes, there were witnesses who heard the call that was on speaker phone.
Fr Evangelos who is there now is paid even less. And his mother-in-law put a $50 bill (which are red bills) in the basket with names for her son-in-law to see what would happen. Guess what? There was no $50 when it got to the altar to Fr Evangelos. Must have been a magic trick.
This is your Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada run into the ground by Archbishop Sotirios and his minions. Where stealing even during Divine Liturgy is a regular thing. Where threatening clergy and their families' lives is just another day. Where bags of cash worth $50K plus a month disappears from St Nicks and ends up in the office of the Archbishop and then vanishes into thin air.
No idea why the churches are empty?
Oh and fun fact: Bishop Iakovos has been in Greece for weeks now. He was just in Greece all summer and he will be there this summer again. How many months exactly of paid vacation does this Bishop get per year? He's been gone up to 4 months in a single year. And who's giving him all this money to live it up in Greece for so many months a year? You can only steal so much from your Philoptochos so where is the rest of the money coming from? A priest with a young family gets paid only $45-$50K a year in Toronto with zero tips but Bishop Iakovos gets to jet set to Greece for months a year? Really?
Why are only Archbishop Sotirios’ people being financially taken care of?!
4:44 pm St Nick’s and a few other mostly Archdiocese owned churches do not pay anywhere near the minimum. The GCT was forced to do so. And then our Archbishop has the nerve to say he wants the GCT churches to do well. If you believe that I have some swampland in Florida to sell.

Κάποιος παραπάνω γράφει πως "οι παπάδες δεν πρέπει να έχουν ούτε ύφος, ούτε να γαυγίζουν. Δεν μασάμε, ότι και να πείτε κύριοι παπάδες..."Αλήθεια αγαπητέ/ή ποιοι δεν μασάτε, όταν οι ναοί είναι στοιβαγμένοι από ερίφια και αμνούς κάθε Κυριακή και σε όλες τις γιορτές που κατάντησαν να εορτάζουν καθημερινά και έναν άγιο/όσια/α και το χειροφίλημα του "βρομερού παπά" πάει σύννεφο. άσε οι επισκέψεις στα σπίτια για αγιασμούς και κάτι πρωτομηνιές, έγινε ρουτίνα. Καλύτερα να μασάτε, θα σας κάνει καλό στο στομάχι. Ή αφήστε τους παπάδες ήσυχους και να κουρεύονται μοναχοί τους.
ReplyDeleteΠου τους είδες εσύ μωρέ τους στιβαγμένους από πρόβατα ναούς; Εδώ ο Σωτήριος παρακαλάει κάθε λίγο να πάμε στην εκκλησιά κνα κοινωνίσουμε και να στέλνουμε τα παιδιά στο κατηχητικό να συνηθήσουν το δρόμο της πίστης, Εδώ από τις περισότερες εκκλησίες δεν εισπράτει ούτε το χαράτσι των 40 χιλιάδων, διότι δεν περισεύουν από τους παχουλούς μησθούς των παπάδων και τα άλλα έξοδα μιας εκκλησίας, όπως φως, νερό τηλέφωνο, ψαλτάδες, νεωκόρους και καντιλαναύτες καντιλαναύτες!

Αν ο Βαρθολομαίος ήθελε γέφυρες και όχι τοίχους θα τον είχε ξαποστείλει τον Σωτήριο πολλά χρόνια πριν. Άρα κατά τη γνώμη μου ένα ακόμα μασκαρά θα μας φορτώσει για να αποτελειώσει το έργο της περιουσίας όλων των κοινοτήτων και ενορειών του Καναδά. Όλοι τους είναι καθάρματα... Καιρός είναι να μας πεις ότι τους αδικούμε κιόλας, τους απατεώνες!!
Delete11:51 Patriarch Bartholomew didn't pick Sotirios as Archbishop of Canada. He inherited him. It's not easy to get rid of a sitting Archbishop without concrete evidence. They've asked people in Canada for evidence for the sexual abuse which they are aware about but no priests will come forward out of shame which is understandable. And the children have received NDAs in exchange for large sums of money so they can't speak about it. Same thing that happened in America until Archbishop Elpidophoros came and stopped paying victims in exchange for silence and now throws the clergy under the bus for their crimes. The policy is public.

ReplyDeleteΠρέπει αγαπητέ να είσαι λίγο αρχάριος για να μην γνωρίζεις τι παλιάνθρωπος είναι ο παπαφίλιππας, όχι από τώρα αλλά από τα πολύ παλιά χρόνια. Πρώτα έχει στο χέρι του τον Σωτήριο και τον κάνει ότι θέλει ενώ εκείνος φοβάτε να αντιδράσει. Σχεδόν όλοι ξέρουμε από που και γιατί τον κρατάει τον αρχιεπίσκοπο. Το ότι είναι 80 χρόνων και δεν παραιτείται είναι όχι γιατί του αρέσουν οι φωνές και καυγάδες, αλλά τα λεφτά. Ούτε αυτός ξέρει ποσες χιλιάδες δολάρια μαζεύει κάθε μήνα, πέρα απο τις 7.000 μισθό που πέρνει. Αυτό το ποσό το ξέρει μόνο η παπαδιά του. Και δεν του φτάνουν όλα αυτά αλλά έκανε και κάπιες ματσαραγκιές με την εφορεία, με τα ψεύτικα τσέκια που εξαργύρωνε στη φιλόπτωχο. Μιλάμε για βρωμερό ιποκείμενο χωρίς τσίπα πάνω του. Οσο για το bulling, το κάνουν όλοι σχεδόν οι παπάδες σε όσουν δεν κάθονται φρόνημα! Μην το ψάχνεις, αυτός είναι και ο λόγος που οι εκκλησίες είναι όλο και περισσότερο άδειες. Άστο να πάνε στο διάολο σου λέω....
