Να πούμε, όλοι, ΟΧΙ στον Σωτήριο…

 

Μη έχοντες τα μεσα της διασταύρωσης των παρακάτω πληροφοριών, ενός αναγνώστη μας, δημοσιεύουμε αυτούσιο το κείμενο, με την ελπλιδα να βρεθεί κάποιος που θα το σχολιάσει και θα μας δώσει περισσότερες πληροφορίες για το περιεχόμενό του.

The conservative branch of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada is abandoning Sotirios once and for all. In a massive blow to Archbishop Sotirios, there’s a new underground movement of a new Greek Orthodox Church being established under the Russian Orthodox Church in Canada in their churches. Since the Russian churches like the Serbs, Ukrainians etc. only speak their language for liturgy there are now Greek speaking orthodox priests and chanters who are performing Greek liturgies every Saturday morning in the Russian Church, since Sundays are the Russian services. This unprecedented and brilliant anti-Sotirios movement is extremely embarrassing not just for Sotirios but also for Patriarch Bartholomew given the ongoing war between the Russian Church and the Ecumenical Patriarchate over the Ukraine Church. This new anti-Sotirios movement began after the huge blow up at St. Kosmas Monastery in Bolton, Ontario (the monastery was founded by the late and holy Geronda Ephraim of Arizona) on the feast day of the monastery (August 24) between the faithful and Sotirios which escalated quickly when Sotirios refused to commune anyone except the nuns, even the little children who had lined up for communion were denied the Body and Blood of Christ by the “Spiritual Leader” of Canada. The founders of this anti-Sotirios movement are quietly (by word of mouth only) but effectively inviting other Greek Orthodox to the new Greeks in the Russian Church. And one parish said that they’ve already lost half their parish to this anti-Sotirios movement. The faithful are finally starting to choose freedom over tyranny. Canada is known in the Greek Orthodox world, particularly from the Patriarchate, as the most conservative leaning faithfuls. Canada is also known in the Greek Orthodox world, particularly from the Patriarchate, as the largest financial donor out of all of the dioceses to Patriarch Bartholomew. Except now the this new Greek Orthodox Church of Canada is flowing the faithfuls money into the Russian Church. Whether you’re a liberal, progressive or a conservative Greek Orthodox in Canada we all want Sotirios removed. And I commend the conservative branch of the church for finally saying OXI to Sotirios.
